Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Relvant: the website at relvant.com and the Relvant apps for iPhone and Android. By using Relvant you agree to them. If your company has a signed agreement with Relvant, that agreement comes first wherever it differs from these terms.

1. The service

Relvant gives a company's employees access to AI models from several providers, and RelvantGuard checks every message, attached document and image for confidential information before anything is sent to a model. Depending on your company's settings, a message containing confidential information is blocked, or sent with the confidential values replaced by placeholders.

2. Accounts

• Relvant is a workplace service. Your company creates your account, and you may use it only for your company's work and within your company's own policies.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• Keep your password and authenticator to yourself, and tell your administrator or [email protected] promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
• Your company's owners and administrators manage your account. They can change your role, set usage limits, disable your access, and review your activity and conversations, as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Relvant for anything unlawful, harmful, harassing or deceptive, or to infringe anyone's rights.
• Try to get around RelvantGuard, for example by disguising or rewording confidential information so it is not recognized.
• Break the usage policies of the AI provider whose model you are using. Those policies apply to what you send and ask for.
• Probe, overload or disrupt the service, get around usage limits, or access another company's or person's data.
• Copy, resell or reverse engineer Relvant, or use it to build a competing product.
• Share your account, or use automated means to operate it, unless we have agreed to that in writing.

4. Your content

• What you send to Relvant and the answers you receive belong to you or your company, as your company's own rules decide. Relvant claims no ownership of them.
• You give Relvant permission to process that content only as needed to run the service: to check it, send allowed messages to the model you chose, store your conversations, and show them to you and to the people in your company who are allowed to see them.
• Relvant does not use your content to train AI models.
• You are responsible for having the right to send what you send.

5. AI answers

Answers are written by AI models made by other companies. They can be wrong, incomplete, out of date or unsuitable, and the same question can produce different answers. Check anything important before relying on it. An answer is not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice, and you are responsible for how you use it.

6. What RelvantGuard does and does not do

RelvantGuard lowers the risk of confidential information leaving your company. No filter catches everything: it can miss confidential information, and it can stop a harmless message. Relvant does not promise that leaks are impossible, and RelvantGuard does not replace your company's own confidentiality policies or your own judgment about what to share.

7. AI providers and your company's own keys

On Relvant's connection, allowed messages are routed to AI endpoints with zero data retention. If your company connects its own account with an AI provider, its messages go to that provider under your company's agreement with it, and your company is responsible for that account, its charges and its data handling. The models on offer can change as providers add, change or withdraw them.

8. Fees and limits

Fees, if any, are agreed between Relvant and your company. Your company can set daily and weekly usage limits for each person. When a limit is reached, messages stop until it resets.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Relvant available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. If RelvantGuard cannot run, messages are not sent. That is by design. We may add, change or remove features, and we will tell your company's administrators in advance of a change that significantly reduces the service.

10. Suspension and ending

• You can stop using Relvant at any time and ask for your account to be deleted, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• Your company can disable or remove your account.
• We may suspend or end access for an account or a company that breaks these terms, puts the service or other customers at risk, or where the law requires it.

11. Relvant's property

Relvant, RelvantGuard, the software, the website and their logos belong to Relvant. These terms give you the right to use them while you have an account, and nothing more. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Relvant is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Relvant is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the service. Relvant's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount your company paid Relvant for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. The mobile apps

If you downloaded the app from Apple's App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and Relvant, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its content, have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and are not responsible for any claims relating to it. You must also follow the store's own terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you as they relate to the iPhone app.

15. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we tell your company's administrators before it takes effect. Using Relvant after a change means you accept the new terms.
